Kai Teki Shidearu

He was born to a mother and father, but both died shortly after he was born, from the villages gang that he was born in. His family had only one friend, and he was given to her. The her being Kyana. Kyana was to be the one to raise him, and raise him how she felt he should be.

Before we continue, Kyana was only 14 when she was given baby Kai. She, being 14, had to figure out to raise him. She decided to attempt to train him to fight the villages gang. Let us skip forward to when he's 10, and she's 24.


This is about when he really started training. The first training session. Quite the training session it was. It started with... quite a bit of pushups and sit ups. Although, he had been doing those passively for around 3 years now, daily. It wasn't that different. After about 3 sets of 20, which was more then they often did, they went onto a part that was actual training.

She would say these words, which at the time surprised him, "Hit me. Kick me right in the gut" Of course, he'd do so, only to get thrown on his ass. She'd smile and tell him exactly what he did wrong. He'd keep attempting, only to fail.


Let's skip to when he was 15, and she's 29. She decides that she'd go and use effort, and would tell him to tie her wrists behind her back. He would, and then she'd move back, and tell him to attack her. He'd try, but fail and get a knee to the chin. Then, he'd get tripped quickly, and she'd have her foot his throat before he could get up.

"You're slow. You don't stand a chance against the gang who killed your parents. The leader is the one who killed your parents, and you don't stand a chance against me, much less him!" She'd yell at him, and quickly get out of his bad rope work. They continued the training.

After a while, about a month later, he would finally be able to beat Kyana. Once he beat her, he knew that he had to set out to beat the gang. He didn't have magic, but that didn't stop him. He didn't dare let that stop him. 

He moved up to the gangs headquarters, and scoped it out. Two guards in the front, and most likely more inside. He looked the two over, they were big and had swords. Katanas, low grade at that. He felt he could take both at once.

He'd leap forward, and superman punch the guy on the right in the face, and then take the Katana from the mans sheath, and cut the man in half. He'd glare at the other one, before cutting his head off. He then felt like that wasn't how to use the sword, and went about stabbing the air for 3-4 minutes. He would then put the blade inside his shirt on the back, and quickly go inside.

He would see about 20 of them, and figures that he can't take them alone. That's when Kyana breaks through the wall with a punch,(She had some powerful wind ability magic). and started fighting them. He'd run in and fight as well. For a 2 on 20 fight, they were doing rather well.

After about 20 minutes, Kyana was on her back panting, and he was sitting against the wall sweating. Out comes the gangs leader.

"Are you kidding me. The 20 of you can't even beat 2 people?" He said to the 5 left standing. The 5 looked at the man, and trembled, "B-Boss. The lady has magic!" The man laughed, and went over to Kyana and lifted her up. He threw her with strength beyond what Kai had ever even imagined before. She went straight into the wall, and broke through and into the next wall.

Kai got up from the wall. and said, "Fuck you. Fuck you and your gang. You took my Father, and my mother away from me. I don't forgive you. I will kill you. I will kill every single one of you in this room." He'd yell, putting his hand out, "Come forth, from inside, my urge to fight!" He laughed, "You think that I have magic? HA! I don't know magic, I only know how to fight."

He threw the katana far away, out of the room, "You and me. One on One." The Gang leader laughed, and said, "Fine. Your death."

The gang leader would move swiftly, and kicked Kai in the back, then grabbed Kais shirt collar by the back. "You don't even stand a chance. Not a chance in hell against a man like me. I could easily kill you. Except, I want you to stand a chance against me one day. I'll let you live. Just for this day, only this day. You leave, and go get strong. Strong enough to fight me. Once you do, come back. Come back and fight me. Even try to kill me. If you can, I've served my purpose I guess, if I die by your hand, fate wanted me to help someone get strong in the end."

The Gang Leader threw Kai out, and Kai slowly crawled over Kyana and laid next to her. She wasn't exactly dead, but was about to die. He hugged her, and passed out from the energy useage that he used while fighting. Kyana died in his arms, and he learned this when he awoke.

When he woke up, he was lying in a bed, bandaged up. He opened his eyes, and asked, "W-" He coughed, and hurt a lot, "Where's Kyana?"

A guy, who looked like a doctor, said, "She's dead. She was dead when we got there." He said such with no emotion. Kai would attempt to get up, but be unable to. He, of course, was angry, and wanted revenge upon the man who killed everyone who ever cared.

Move ahead 2 weeks, he was finally up and moving. He was given a black coat, and a pair of pants to go. He put them on, and left. Left the city, and wondered. He wandered till he was 17, so 2 years. He had found what he would be doing for awhile.

He had wandered into a pub, and happened to overhear something about fights. He'd wander into the back, just in time for him to get thrown into the ring. As he was thrown in, he was thrown in against a bigger fellow. The bigger fellow taunted something about Kais mother and father. This pissed Kai off.

Kai would run forward, quickly, and nail the man in the nose with a punch. Then, he'd knee the man in the ribs.(The ring looks like a WWE ring, except for the post were metal, and the ropes were actual ropes.) He'd get on the top of the corner, and with the mans head in his hands, he'd jump over the man, and smash the mans head into the mat with a ton of force. The man was bleeding from his nose, and mouth.

The 'proctor' stopped the match, as Kai was about to kill the man. After the match, he kept fighting day after day. For 3 years. He was never beaten. Until, one day, a gal came by. The gal walked in, and walked through the ropes. She took off her jacket, which happened to have the Knights Blade Guilds insignia. She had a white  tee-shirt under the jacket.

This was going to the toughest battle he had fought, besides the gang one. The gal got into a fighting stance, and waited on Kais first move. What Kai didn't know, was that the insignia, was that of a guild member. The guild member was easily more powerful then him, but that didn't stop him. If she used her magic, he would have been done instantly, but she only used her hand to hand, so he stood a chance.

He'd look her over, she didn't look too tough. Of course, that meant next to nothing. He started the fight, by running forward, and attempting to kick the lass in the chin. The lass dodged, and flipped him over onto his back. She would then attempt to stomp on him, but he'd roll back out of the way, and stand up.

“You're skilled, for a lady I must say.” He said, smirking. At this point in life, he was 7'3, and was a profoundly decent fighter. The gal, who will be named later, felt the magic energy coming from Kai, even though it was in a very small amount.

“I... am Lilyann. Lilyann Sheren.”  She said, with a strict voice, “I' have been called by this man!” He pointed to the proctor, “to beat, and end, this mans winning streak.” She then pointed at Kai.

While she wasn't alone, her partners were outside, and most likely dealing with a few drunks.  Kai sighed, and said, “My names Kai, now, since we're done introducing ourselves, may we fight?” Lilyann simply nodded, and ran at him. He used his size, to grab her and slam her onto the matt. She was 5'7, so her size pales in comparison to his. She then, as she landed, kicked Kai right in the nuts. A dirty, but effective, move. He leaned against the ropes, in signifigant pain. She took out a pair of handcuffs, and, as she was about to finish him, he tackled her, and put her in said handcuffs with her hands behind her, making it so she couldn't punch him.

“That kick to the nuts was dirty. Really dirty. Where are you from?” Kai would ask, sighing.

“I...” As she was about to say where she was from, in comes her idiots of a team, running towards the ring and quickly entering. He stepped back, and allowed the two to try to get the cuffs off of her. He'd smile and say, “I know your mission, I don't know where you're from, just that you're supposed to beat me.”

They'd stare at her, and then at him, “Fine. How about a two on one match?” They'd say, almost sure they could win. As he accepted, they got her out of the ring, and sat her in a chair ring-side. They then reentered the ring, and they started the fight. They both ran at him, and one went high, the other went low. Kai went medium, and dove straight through the attack, and nailed one of them, the one that went low, with a kick to the head.

After about 10 minutes, Lilyann was getting annoyed about how much her partners were getting beat. She had gotten beaten, and felt sitting in the cuffs was punishment enough for it. She held her own set of rules up, and punishing yourself when you fail was one of them. She could still feel the magic energy coming from him, still in such a low quantity.  She knew he had magic in him, not sure what kind he could use, but she could feel it.

She herself was a fire wizard, mainly using it to fire at people.  Kai, as she would come to know, was a wind wizard, a powerful one at that.

After another 10, he threw both of them after a ring. They were really bad at hand to hand combat. They really were. He'd open up the ring ropes, and then smirk.

“Lily, come into the ring, I'd like a chat with you.” She walked over, and entered the ring. She leaned against the corner, as he asked a simple question, “Tell me. Where are you from?” This time, with her  team groaning in pain, with a broken rib each, she answered.

“We're one of the teams from the guild,  Knights blade, I'm sorry that we've failed you, Mission contractor.” She said, while being sad that she failed the mission.

The proctor finally spoke up, “I will still pay you that money, you gave him the hardest fight he's had in years,  even if short. Along with the fact that your buds have broken ribs, and will be out of condition for awhile. I'm willing to let him go back with you to atone for hurting them. He doesn't really have anything else to wear either, we wash that every day. You can just take him and leave.”

The proctor went into the mmoney box, and took out two thousand Jewel. Kai took it, and said, “Do you want me to put this in a pocket, possibly your back one?” He asked, and then slipped it in anyway. She finally took the cuffs off hereself, and put them on Kai, who stood still while she did it.

They walked for awihle, then stopped. Kai decided to put a few choice words in, “Why am I really being brought in? To join, or am I really in trouble?” While this did anger Lily Ann. She figured that Kai was much smarter then he looked.  She wasn't sure herself,  and stopped the group.

“Let's rest for the night, I really need to think things through.” She would say, as she walked towards a tree and leaned against it. Kai knew what she meant, and didn't bother her.

“Say, you two, have you recovered from the beating that I gave you?”  He said, smirking. “Shut up! We could beat you up right now!” They'd say. He'd laugh.

“HEY! STOP FIGHTING!” Lilyann would yell from the tree,  with quite a bit of anger in her voice. She was rather busy thinking.

Let us fast forward into the night(?) even though it was always night. Kai, bored of being in the cuffs, went over to Lily who was asleep at that point. He sighed, and said to himself with sincere annoyance and as quiet as could be, “She could have stayed awake and uncuffed me. It's not like I'll run.”  He really wouldn't. Not because he's afraid, no, because someone is actually not fighting him. For the last few years, at that point, he had been fighting everyone and knew not a person he didn't fight.

He laid next to her, and silently placed his head into her lap and fell asleep. The real reason he stayed, is that his eyes and mind had an illusion that these people might care. Might care like Kyana did. Of course, that was to be seen.  When he woke up, which was before Lily, he noticed that she was hugging his head, and was sweating a ton. He moved his head, grabbed the key from Lilys pocket, and uncuffed himself.

He sighed, and sat. He waited the hour or so for her to wake up. When she did, he had an idea. “Lilyann, you didn't have a good nights sleep, how about you sleep on my back while we travel, I'll have those two guide me.” She nodded. He knelt down, and she climbed up on his back. He went to the two with her hanging on his back.

“You guys got some rope or something? So that we can just tie her to me, so that I don't drop her.”  They found some rope, and tied Lilyann to his back, and they started walking. They walked and walkd, about an hour after they started, Lily finally fell asleep. He smiled when when she did. They walked for about 6 hours, before she woke up. When she did, she noticed that she was tied to Kais back. She sighed, and said nothing. She didn't mind getting carried.

After a longer while, another 2 hours. They had been walking for 8 hours, and were almost there.

“Damn, you guys were far from here.” Kai would say, smiling.

“Oh shut up.” One of  the two guys said, as Lilyann finally said, “Let me down.”

Kai would laugh, “The only way I'm letting you down, is tieing you up and giving you to your friends, I don't want to ri-” He would get the back of her foot on the bottom of his nuts, and he would go down. This is exactly what he was about to say he didn't want to risk.  Once on the ground, he attempted to seperate from Kai, but was unable to.

“I … don't think that'd be the best idea. I think you wet yourself while you slept.” He said, pointing to a spot on the back of his shirt.  She went redfaced, and said, “Let me out now, I can't get out.” It may have just been around her gut, but the knot was on Kais side. Kai slowly undid the knot, and let her out. She ran a bit back, and... changed? At least, her undergarments. When she got back, Kai was getting smacked by the two, but he just stood there and waved at Lily.

“So, Lily, does that happen a lot?” He asked, and she merely nodded, she had bladder issues all her life, the poor lass. “So that's why the two didn't laugh.” They nodded, and went on ahead. “We'll go on ahead to tell them of your coming.”

He took off his only shirt, and threw it. “It's no good anyway.” He had a built body from fighting for 2 years, so he wouldn't be screamed at for taking off his shirt. He started walking, before hearing Lily say something, “Thanks for warning me, I would've went into the guild like that, it would't have been good.  Anyway, I have a question, what's your last name?”

“Shidearu. That's my last name. My name means Times foe is Death.” He said, sighing, “Tell me, Lily, why are you in this guild?”

“Because, I was  born into it and forced to stay in it, plus, they care about me.” She says, sighing.

Just then, a Dark Guild member, seeing her Guild Marking on her arm,  attacked. Since it was a surprise attack, the member of the Dark Guild was able to hit the back of her leg, which made it buckle. She went down, on her ass. As the enemy was about to hit her again, Kai stepped in, which was more like a leap in, and kicked the enemy straight in the head.

The enemy stumbled back. The enemy started to cast a spell, and Kai put his 2 hands out, and tried to cast a spell. He wasn't sure if he had Magic or not, but when he did, a spell circle came out. Using pure will, and an idea, a burst of wind, in the shape of a ball, hit the enemy. This weakened him significantly, due it being the first time he had used magic.

“That one spell tired me out more then any of my fights.” He said, and then looked at the man who was now getting up. Kai got mad.

“The fuck did you think you were doing, attacking the lass like that?” He didn't have a guild marking, which is most likely why the man attacked her, in his mind.

“Because, I was told to. She's the daughter of a rich family, a run away.” The man would say, before getting a knife in the back from somewhere. Out from the path behind him came a man in a suit. The mans sighed, and disposed of the body.

“Sorry for that, I was sent to kill him, but aparantly, he was sent to retrieve her. Oh well, I guess I will take my leave.” The man said, before seemingly evaporating into thin air. Kais still unsure of who that was at that point.

Kai saw Lily try to get up, but noticed that her knees were hurt, not bad persay, but hurt. He lifted her up by her arms, and put her on his head. He started walking, keeping her on his head. She would complain that he didn't have to, but he'd insist. They arrived about an hour later then the other two. Due to them talking for a bit.

They arrived, and he was looked at odd. Due to no guild marking. He was invited into the guild after they heard the story, and he accepted.

After getting a room of his own, and a week or so passing, he finally got out of his room and out in the guild hall on his own for once. He was met with, guess who, Lily.

“After you broke the ribs of my team, they're still resting. You mind taking their place for now?” She'd ask, looking at him.

“Fiiine. What do you want me to do?” He'd say, sighing.

“Just come with me on my next mission, it won't be S ranked.” She said.

At this point, he wasn't really aware of the ranks, or the fact that he was maybe a D ranked wizard. He was a weak wizard, but a powerful puncher. After about 10 minutes, Lily came back around, and said, “Come on, the mission is to defeat a group of thugs that have been bothering a few merchants. Ya know, the ones we passed by?”

He thought for a moment, and then said, “I might. Just tell me that you won't piss yourself mid-fight.” He said, laughing.

He knelt down, “Wanna ride?”

“Suuure.” She said, climbing onto his back. The two started off without a hitch, with Kai making decent time. It took them around an hour to get to the merchants, who welcomed them. They were told to go in the back, in which they did. They laid around for a long while. It became late in the night(?) in which they heard the first movements.

He put on a hat, which was next to him, and got up and went out. He saw the bandits holding the merchants at knife point. Kai moved fast, and jumped out behind them. “I am Kai Shidaeru, from the Knights Blade guild. I'm here to d-” He got a fist, right in the jaw. “Ow. You little shit.” He said, punching the guy back, and then leading up with a kick that went straight up, right into his chin. The dude went up, and then landed on his ass.

There was 7 others. There was also a man hiding in the shadows, the one he had seen before, but he didn't know that. He fought 4 of them off, and then Lily finished the other 3 with ease. Then, Mr.Suit and tie came out. He merely sighed.

“I'm sorry I can't tell you my name, Call me Vampire, as I feel we might meet again at some point. Although, I am sad to say I was sent by someone... a gang leader in a village, to take this lass and go.” Mr.Suit and tie said, grabbing Lily by the wrist, and in turn getting a kick to the nards.

“It doesn't feel nice now does it?” He said, quickly moving and wrapping his arms around the mans neck, as the man went to a knee. The man elbowed Kai, and that made Kai let go. Kai had an idea, not exactly his best, but an idea.

“Merchants, if you don't mind, may we fight here? Right in front of you? Not for defence?” The merchants nodded, and then gave one rule, not to break the stands. They both nodded. Kai sighed, and said.

“You know what, We should fight right here and now. The winner gets to keep Lilyann.” Kai said, readying his stance. The other man merely nodded, and got into his stance. The two started it off, both just punching each other over, and over again. Lily figured one would drop, but after about 5 minutes, she didn't know when it would end. Kai dodged one of the blows, and grabbed the man. Kai then threw the man onto his back.

As Kai was about to follow up on his throw, he was tripped by the man and landed on his back. They both got  up afterwords. Both had bloody noses, and they both shrugged it off.

“Is she really worth it, Kai? Really, is she truly worth it, Kai Shidaeru? Follow your name, and let time fall, and death come.” The man said, going into a more offensive stance. Kai, who was thinking about his answer, shifted into a more offensive one as well.

“Maybe... just maybe, I care about my comrades, and they care about me. You assassins don't have that kind of deal, do you?” Kai would retort back.

“We do, we often don't follow up on it due to wanting to live, which you don't.” The assassin took out a knife, and then handed one to Kai. “If we fight with knives, I don't want to kill a worthy opponent like you, with a weapon when you have one.” The man said, and smiled, figuring Kai wouldn't know how to wield a knife... which wasn't exactly far from the truth.

Kai held the knife, and let it's weight sink in, before holding it with it's blade facing right in his right hand.(Like someone in the movies.) He sunk a bit lower stance. And waited for the man to strike. They had a staring contest, while waiting. Then, the man turned around, and grabbed Lily.

“Move behind the merchants, woman.” He threw her over the top of the cart, and she got caught be the merchants. Kai looked at her, and told the merchants, “Put her in the back where we were. So that I can go get her if I win.” Kai then looked at the man, “While we fight, I request one thing. No magic.”

“Fine. I won't' use any of my magic, if you don't.” The assassin said, and  stabbed at Kai, with the blade aimed at Kais heart. Kai would be able to dodge it, and then dodge another knife attack, this time a swing. Kai would swing at the man with the knife, and get blocked, and then a fist to the face. Kai would stumble back, his heart racing at this point.

“My name, is Alexzander. My last name shall stay secret.” Alexzander would say,  and then take off his suit and tie. Kai would take off his shirt, and say, “it's time we got to buisness.”

Lily, who I shall touch upon at this point, was watching these two. She was amazed that Kai was even keeping up, due to the other boy, Alexzander, looking so much more skilled. Of course, if looks could kill, Kai would've killed lots.

“Alright, Alexzander. I guess you're sent by her father, via a guild mission?” Kai would ask.

“Wrong, I''m... her brother. Our father sent me her to get her back to him. Back to the castle that we own.” Alexzander would say. Kai dropped the knife, and looked at Lily.

“You tell me she's your sister, then is she a run away?” Kai would ask.

“Yes, She ran away about 3 years ago, we've been searching all 3 of these years.”  Alexzander answered, and dropped his knife as well.

“We aren't going to get anywhere at this rate, both of us are equal in skill, and I refuse to kill you, or even incapcitate you now.” Kai would say, sighing.

“I won't leave, until I get my sister  back. If I don't get my sister back, I won't leave. I'll follow you back to your guild if I have to, but I refuse to leave without her.” Alex would say.

It then, at that moment, dawned upon Lily that her brother was an assassin. The brother that once had cared for her, the one that had saved her from bullies, killed people for a living. She got up from the back, and said, with fierceness in her voice, “Brother. I refuse to go back with a killer. Hell, I don't even think your my brother. MY BROTHER WOULD NEVER BECOME A KILLER! HE CARED TOO MUCH ABOUT ME!” The end of the sentence, she had a tear coming out.

“Look what we've done. We made her cry. This is very, very bad. Let's not fight, and sit back. Tell me why your father wants her back.” Kai would say.

They did just that, he learned a lot that day, including why Alex became an assassin, why she became a guild member, also how she lied.
